Payment & security
How your card is handled, what appears on your statement, and why every charge is one-time.
This page explains how payment on granitepeakgroup.store works, what happens to your card details, what will appear on your statement, and what we do and do not do with your money.
How your card is handled
Card details are entered directly into a hosted, encrypted payment field served by our payment provider. Those details go from your browser to the provider. They are not received by our website, are not processed on our servers, and are never stored by us in any form. We are shown only the outcome of the authorization, the card brand, the last four digits and a reference number — the same information printed on a receipt.
This is the architecture that keeps the sensitive part of the transaction inside the provider's PCI-DSS certified environment rather than ours. It is also why our staff cannot read your card number back to you, and will never ask you for it by email or over the phone.
Security measures on every transaction
- TLS encryption on every page of this site, not just checkout.
- Address Verification (AVS) — the billing address you enter is checked against the address your card issuer holds.
- Card security code (CVV) — required on every transaction and never stored.
- 3-D Secure — where your issuer requests step-up authentication, you are asked to confirm the payment with your bank. This shifts liability for fraudulent use to the issuer and protects you.
- Risk screening — every transaction is scored before it is captured, and we manually review anything unusual before we ship.
One-time charges only
Every charge we make is a single, one-time charge for the goods you ordered. We do not operate subscriptions, memberships, recurring billing, negative-option billing, free-trial-to-paid conversions, or automatic reordering. We do not store your card for future use and we cannot charge it again without you entering your details afresh. If you are ever charged twice, tell us and it is refunded the same business day.
What appears on your statement
Your order appears as a separate charge under a different name from the store name, because payments are handled by our payment provider. If you see a charge you do not recognize, please contact us before disputing it — email support@granitepeakgroup.store or call (508) 304-3311 with the amount and the last four digits of the card, and we will identify the order for you the same business day. A dispute costs you time and costs us a fee; a phone call costs neither of us anything.
When you are charged
Payment is authorized and captured when you place the order, because everything we sell is in stock and picked immediately. If an item turns out to be unavailable after you order, we contact you and refund in full without waiting for you to ask.
Cards we accept
Visa, Mastercard, American Express and Discover credit and debit cards issued in the United States. We do not accept wire transfer, cryptocurrency, gift cards, or payment by any method that cannot be reversed if something goes wrong — that protection matters more to you than the convenience.
Refunds
Refunds are issued to the original payment method only. We cannot refund to a different card. See our Returns and Refunds page for timings.
Reporting a problem
If you believe your card has been used fraudulently on this site, contact your card issuer first — they can block the card immediately — and then tell us at support@granitepeakgroup.store. We will supply whatever information we hold to support your claim and we will cooperate fully with your issuer's investigation.
