Granite Peak Group is a hardware and tool supply house. We hold stock, we describe it properly, and we ship it the day you order it. That is the whole proposition, and it is harder to find than it should be.
Why we started
The company was formed in Massachusetts in June 2026, out of a frustration that anyone who buys tools for a living will recognize. Ordering a specific item — a particular drive, a particular grade, a particular capacity — had become an exercise in guesswork. Listings were photographs with a price attached. Sizes were buried in a table three clicks away, or absent. Stock said "available" and meant "we can probably get it." What arrived was frequently not what the picture showed.
The people who suffer from that are not hobbyists browsing on a Sunday. They are maintenance technicians who need the right fitting before the shift ends, facilities teams restocking a store cupboard, and small workshops that cannot afford to lose a day to a wrong part. We built Granite Peak Group for them.
How we choose what to carry
We carry a deliberately finite range — around 241 lines across twelve departments — rather than an endless catalog assembled from whatever a distributor will drop-ship. Every line has to clear four things before it goes on the shelf: it has to be dimensioned so you can tell whether it fits; it has to be held in our own stock rather than ordered in when you buy it; it has to be priced once, publicly, with no account rate you have to ask for; and it has to be returnable, because getting the wrong size is not a reason to be stuck with it.
When something stops clearing that bar, we drop it. The range is smaller than it could be, on purpose.
Where we are
We operate from 68 Harrison Ave, Suite 605 #591444, Boston, MA 02111. Orders are picked and packed there and handed to the carrier the same business day when they arrive before 2:00 PM Eastern. Being in New England means most of the northeast is one or two days away on ground service, and nowhere in the contiguous United States is more than five.
How we sell
Online only, at granitepeakgroup.store. There is no showroom, no outside sales force and no minimum order. One published price applies to everybody — a sole trader ordering a single wrench pays the same as a facilities department ordering a case. We think tiered pricing is mostly a way of charging the people with the least time the most money.
